SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 12th, 2020 the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Tonya Harwood of Walpole, NH for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol.
Harwood’s vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Rockingham St and New Arch Bridge following a motor vehicle violation. The Officer observed indications of alcohol impairment and requested that Harwood perform Standardized Field Sobriety Exercises. At the conclusion of the exercises it was determined that Harwood was under the influence of alcohol.
Harwood was arrested and transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing. Harwood was released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division at a later date.
