On July 10, 2021, the Bellows Falls Police Department was notified of a larceny from a building. Upon further investigation, Jeremy Duby was cited to appear at the Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on September 07, 2021 to answer to the charges of Credit Card Fraud and Petit Larceny from a Building.

 ACCUSED: Thomas N. Parrott (age 41)                                          

 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 19th, 2021, at approximately 1532 hours, the Bellows Falls Police Department received a report of a disturbance at a local business where one person had left the scene.

Officers conducted an investigation and ultimately arrested Thomas N. Parrott, 41, of Bellows Falls, Vermont, for the crimes of Domestic Assault and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Parrott was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing. At the completion of processing Parrott was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on 08/20/2021 to answer to the charges. He was ultimately lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash/surety bail, per the court.

 VIOLATION: Ignition Interlock Device Required               

 ACCUSED: Carl A. Record (age 48)                                    

 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 15th, 2021, at approximately 1332 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Carl A. Record, age 48, of Bellows Falls, Vermont for the crime of Ignition Interlock Device Required.

 A vehicle subsequently discovered to be driven by Record was seen by an officer driving west on Old Terrace in the Village of Bellows Falls. The officer observed a motor vehicle violation and turned around to catch up to the vehicle.

 At the scene of the stop, Record was identified as the operator. It was discovered that he was required to have an ignition interlock device in the vehicle he was driving which he did not.

 Record was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing. Record was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on 10/05/2021 to answer to the charge of Ignition Interlock Device Required.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 21st, 2021 at approximately 2:07 am, Bellows Falls Police stopped a motor vehicle on Atkinson Street in the Village of Bellows Falls for a traffic infraction. After an investigation, Westyn Wright was arrested and charged with DUI.  ACCUSED: Keith J. Tyrrell Sr. (age 57)                                          

 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 18th, 2021, at approximately 0920 hours, the Bellows Falls Police Department began an investigation into a possible Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order and Violation of Conditions of Release.

 At the conclusion of the investigation, Keith J. Tyrrell Sr, 57, or Bellows Falls, Vermont was arrested for the offenses. The court was contacted and set bail in the amount of $5,000 as well as new conditions of release.

 Tyrrell was transported by the Windham County Sheriff’s Office and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On August 11th, 2021, at approximately 1307 hours, the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Robert F. Lawrence, age 29, of Bellows Falls, Vermont for Domestic Assault.

 Officer’s responded to a residence on Westminster St after receiving a report of an altercation between two family members. As a result of the investigation, Lawrence was arrested for the listed charge.

 Lawrence was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing. At the completion of processing Lawrence was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on 08/12/2021 to answer to the charge. He was ultimately lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.

 ACCUSED: Gregory B. Richards (age 56)                                       

 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 28th, 2021 at approximately 0912 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Gregory B. Richards, age 56, of Bellows Falls, Vermont on an Arrest Warrant (Instate) and Possession of Heroin.

 Officers made contact with Richards on Atkinson St after observing suspicious behavior occurring. Officers subsequently learned that Richards had two active arrest warrants issued by the Vermont Superior Court – Windsor Criminal Division. Richards was taken into custody and was subsequently found to be in possession of 10 bags of suspected heroin.

 Richards was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for the purpose of processing. At the completion of processing, Richards was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 09/21/2021 to answer to the charge of possession of heroin. Richards was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility by the Windham County Sheriff’s Office in lieu of bail on the warrants.

 CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rockingham, Vermont   

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 25th, 2021 at approximately 1430 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested James A. Cunningham, age 38, of Rockingham, Vermont for disorderly conduct and violation of conditions of release.

 The Bellows Falls Police Department was called to the area of 41 the Square for a report of a disturbance between two people. Upon arrival an investigation was conducted. At the conclusion of the investigation, Cunningham was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on 08/17/2021.

The Bellows Falls Police Department was assisted by the Walpole New Hampshire Police Department with regards to this incident.

 

Provencher - Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Heroin greater than 200mg & Possession of Methamphetamine

 ACCUSED:    Jeremy Provencher                  Age: 37           City/State: Walpole, NH         

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

 On 07/30/2021 the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Westminster Street for a traffic infraction. An investigation led to suspicion that narcotics activity was occurring. Officer Ryan Prince and K9 AJ of the Weathersfield Police Department arrived on scene to assist. K9 AJ alerted to the presence of drug odors in the vehicle. The driver consented to a search of his person in which 406 mg of suspected heroin was located. The vehicle was seized pending application of a search warrant.

 On 08/02/2021 a warrant was granted to search the vehicle. 1.4 grams of suspected fentanyl and 2.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine were located during the search. Provencher was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.

 This is part of an ongoing effort from the Bellows Falls Police Department Community Action Team to address the ongoing issue of criminal activity and narcotics activity in the Bellows Falls Area. ACCUSED: Robert George   Age: 32        City/State: Bellows Falls, VT                                        

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:  On July 31, 2021 at approximately 2:11 am, the Bellows Falls Police Department attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Westminster Street for a suspected impaired driver.  The operator fled in the vehicle.  The operator crashed on Davidson Hill Road in Westminster and fled on foot into the nearby woods.  Robert George was located and was subsequently arrest and charged with DUI 3, Gross Negligent Operation, Eluding Police and Criminal DLS.  George was transported by ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash.  George was later released to a sober party and cited to appear in court at a later date.
