SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On April 23rd, 2022, at approximately 0059 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Nathan E Fairbrother, age 24, of Westminster, Vermont for driving under the influence.

An officer observed a motor vehicle violation on Route 121 on a vehicle ultimately discovered to be driven by Fairbrother. The officer stopped the vehicle on Route 121 and after meeting with Fairbrother, the officer observed signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and at the conclusion of the tests Fairbrother was arrested for DUI.

Fairbrother was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for the purpose of processing. At the completion, Fairbrother was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 05/30/2023 to answer to the charges.

ACCUSED: Richard Pennington; Age: 49

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Hudson Falls, New York 

 SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:       

On 04-15-2023 at approximately 2:27 p.m. Officer Mayer of the Bellows Falls Police Department, received a dispatch concerning an unconscious male in a vehicle. The operator was later identified as Richard Pennington of Hudson Falls, NY.

Pennington was woken up and a conversation began. On suspicion of Pennington being intoxicated, the standard field sobriety tests were conducted. Pennington could not perform the tests. 

A roadside Blood Alcohol Content was requested and given, with the resulting BAC % over the allowable limit set forth by law.

Pennington was advised that that he was under arrest, he resisted and had to be physically subdued. Pennington was taken into custody and charged with DUI -2nd or Subsequent Offense, Resisting Arrest and Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.

Pennington was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing and issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court- Criminal Division to answer to the charge(s) on May 2nd, 2023, at 8:30 a.m.

ACCUSED: Pamela J. Norberg (age 51)                                          

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: New London, Connecticut         

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On April 14^th, 2023, at approximately 2051 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Pamela J. Norberg, age 51, of New London, Connecticut for driving under the influence.

Norberg’s vehicle was stopped on Rockingham St after an officer observed a motor vehicle violation. After meeting with Norberg, indicators of impairment were observed. Standardized Field Sobriety Test’s were administered, and at the conclusion of the tests Norberg was arrested for DUI.

Norberg was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for the purpose of processing. At the completion, she was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 05/02/2023 to answer to the charge of Driving Under the Influence.
