ACCUSED: Nicholas Batchelder (age 39)                                        

 

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On July 4th, 2024, at approximately 1837 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Nicholas Batchelder, age 39, of Bellows Falls, Vermont on an active In-State Warrant.

 

At approximately 1837 hours Officer LaBelle of the Bellows Falls Police Department witnessed Nicholas Batchelder dancing in the parking lot of Athens Pizza. After Officer LaBelle approached Batchelder, dispatch advised that he had an Active In-State Arrest Warrant. Batchelder was placed under arrest without incident.

 

Batchelder was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for the purpose of processing. At the completion, Batchelder was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on 7/5/2024 to answer the charge and lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
