SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On 11-11-2022 at approximately 1:38 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department received a call from an employee of Penguin Mart, located at 124 Rockingham Street in Bellows Falls.
The employee called to state that a male had “pickpocketed” the wallet of an elderly customer as they were exiting the store.
Upon arriving and watching the security footage the individual that allegedly stole the wallet was identified as Jeffrey Matteson.
Matteson was located on 12-16-2022 and issued a No Trespass Order for the
Penguin Mart and a citation to appear in the Windham County Superior Court-
Criminal Division to answer to the charge(s) of Larceny from a Person on
February 07, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.
