SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On January 13th, 2022, at approximately 2315 hours, an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Jeffrey D. Kneeland, age 40, of Vernon, Vermont for the crime of Ignition Interlock Device Required.
A vehicle subsequently discovered to be driven by Kneeland stopped for the observed violation on Route 5 in the Town of Westminster, just outside of the Village of Bellows Falls. At the scene of the stop, Kneeland was identified as the operator. It was discovered that he was required to have an ignition interlock device in the vehicle he was driving which he did not.
Kneeland was arrested and transported to the Bellows Falls Police
Department for processing. At the completion of processing he was issued a
citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court - Windham Criminal Division on 02/28/2023
to answer to the charge of Ignition Interlock Device Required.
