CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rockingham, Vermont
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On June 18th, 2021 at approximately 0822 hours, an
officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Joshua Lescord, age
34, of Rockingham, Vermont for VCR and Possession of Heroin.
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a
vehicle ultimately discovered to be driven by Lescord. During the duration of
the stop a consent search was conducted and 20 bags of suspected
heroin/fentanyl was located. It was further discovered that Lescord was in
violation of his active court ordered conditions of release.
Lescord was arrested and transported to the
Bellows Falls Police Department for the purpose of processing. At the
completion of processing, Lescord was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior
Court – Windham Criminal Division on 06/21/2021 to answer to the charge as well
as updated conditions of release.
