SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 24th,
2020 at approximately 0418 hours the Bellows Falls Police Department responded
to a residence for a possible Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order. An
investigation was conducted and at the conclusion of that investigation it was
determined that there was probable cause to charge Brian Mattson of
Springfield, Vermont with the crime of Aggravated Stalking and Violation of an
Abuse Prevention Order.
Mattson was arrested for these offenses at approximately 2115 hours later
that evening. Mattson was transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department
and was later transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack
of $25,000 bail. Mattson will appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham
Criminal Division on 05/26/2020 at 1230 hours.
