ACCUSED: Tanner Sawyer (Age 21)

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Chester, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On May 12^th, 2024 at 02:01 hours Officer’s with the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Blue Yamaha Adventure in the parking lot of the Hetty Green Park. While speaking with the operator, Officer’s observed multiple signs of impairment.

Subsequent investigation determined Tanner Sawyer (Age 21) of Chester, Vermont was impaired to the point he was unsafe to operate a motor vehicle. Sawyer was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Bellows Falls Police Department for processing. At the completion of processing, Sawyer was issued a Vermont Criminal Citation to appear at the Windham Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date
