VIOLATION: Possession of Firearms – Persons Prohibited

 

ACCUSED: Ross Martin (age 58)                             

 

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Bellows Falls, Vermont  

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On June 9th, 2024, at approximately 2144 hours, officers with the Bellows Falls Police Department arrested Ross Martin, age 58, of Bellows Falls, Vermont, for Possession of Firearms-Persons Prohibited.

 

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Williams Terrace which involved a firearm. During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Martin was in possession of two firearms while being prohibited from possession of firearms via Brady Act disqualification.

 

Martin was issued a Citation to appear in the Windham County Superior Court – Criminal Division, on July 30th, 2024, at 0830 hours.

 

Decisions regarding release and or bail are outside of the control of the Police Department. These matters are handled by the Judicial System, including Judges, Court Clerks, and the State’s Attorney’s Office.
